(January 2008)
Bassam,
I understand and remain
in support of the philosophy and direction
ANB is taking . My wife and I have become
more comfortable with the ANB objective and
at the same time, grown patient for the
results. Sammy's eagerness and drive to
participate in this program remains high and
strong. As a result, Sammy has shown
improved discipline at home and at school.
Furthermore, he continues to periodically
have a ball at his feet at home. I believe
this is a sign of genuine desire and
interest in futbol.
Thank you
once again for making this possible.

Hi Bassam,
I just wanted to take a moment to pass on my
special “thanks” to you and your team for
allowing Keean to be part of your program
for the summer months ending Sept. 1st.
I think Keean has learned a lot and has been
able to apply his learning’s to his game as
the so called “sweeper” of his rep squad. I
know that Carlos, Richard and Minaz have had
tremendous effect in this thinking (carrying
the ball more and taking chances) and in his
personal development. I know Keean really
misses the program and all the
boys….unfortunately, due to time
constraints, school and distance…we tend
usually shut him down from soccer during the
winter months.
I am proud to have been associated with A&B
Academy and your professionalism. Thank you
so so much for kindly accommodating my son.
Best wishes…
Hanif

Bassam,
I would like to express my thanks and extreme
gratitude for all that you and the academy have
done thus far for Julian. My son has been
exposed to fantastic positive role models in
yourself, Carlos, Richard and Minaz. Julian is
receiving more than you can imagine in a very
difficult time in his life. For all the
efforts, positive reinforcement and praise, I am
forever in yours and the U12's coaching staff
debt.
Thank you Gentlemen !!!!!!
Best Regards,
Dino Santia

Dear
coaches Constantin, Supa and Team Manager/Parent
Rep. Gino:
I won't wait until the end of the season to say
HUGE congratulations on the job you all have
been doing with the boys in the U-10 program. I
can speak categorically for the improvement I
have seen in my son Jonathan as well as many of
the other boys. Individual progress aside, it is
evident that the concept of teamwork is becoming
more firmly etched in their minds and, for the
most part, they really enjoy playing the game.
Gino, your communication, co-ordination of
events and concern for every single child in the
program has been superlative.
I believe that we are on course to being able to
say at the end of the season: "Mission
Accomplished".
I join with the other parents and supporters in
encouraging you to continue along the ANB path
and wish you continued success.
Warm regards,
Roy Davis

Hi Bassam,
As the 2006 outdoor season comes to a close, I
can see quite clearly the positive impact ANB
training during the previous winter has had on
my daughter. Given the improvement in the
player, it is clear to us that training with ANB
can be one of the more important advantages a
player can have. We are very grateful to Bassam,
Jhon, Richard, and all the other staff. Top
quality!
It should also be clear that my daughter
absolutely enjoyed every session and that is
perhaps the most important thing. She is
looking forward to another season with ANB.
Rarely one to recommend anything, I do not
hesitate to recommend ANB.
Regards,
John Page
P.S. Coach Jhon Ardilla even managed to teach
me how to kick a ball better than I ever
thought I could.

Bassam,
I
would like to again thank you and your staff for
presenting such an enjoyable soccer experience
to my daughter, Brooke. Everyday she would
return from the camp happy and tired. As you
know, Brooke is a very talented player who looks
for challenges. Your camp did that, and in a
very positive way, it enhanced her confidence as
a player.
As someone who has coached kids for about 30
years, I am always looking for situations which
provide positive skill development in a fun
filled atmosphere. Brooke's experience; "its the
best camp I've ever been to", is what I wanted
to hear.
Thank you, good luck and continued success
training young soccer players.

Bassam,
By word of mouth, I found my way to an indoor soccer
facility in January of this year. My 9 year old, a
very athletic young boy, accompanied me with a
little hesitation because we didn't know much about
ANB Soccer Academy. We were approached by a very
friendly man and offered a very warm welcome from
Bassam Naim, who as it turned out, is the Director
of the Academy.
Jordan was directed to change and get right into the
warm up that had already begun. I watched the
entire initial session and was immediately impressed
with the following:
-
the group of boys was led by an energetic,
athletic coach and supported by colleagues of
the same calibre
-
students were actively partipating in a
challenging but enjoyable set of activities
designed to enhance fitness
-
there was a variety of different drills and
opportunities to demonstrate their individual
skills
-
the coaches didn't simply explain the next
challenges, but demonstrated what was expected,
had one of the boys demonstrate to show it could
be done and then monitored the activity to
support individual efforts and refine what they
were doing
-
there was a gradual progression from large group
to 1 on 1 to small group and then to 3 on 3
"game like situations" where staff facilitated
the play
-
the 2 hour session closed with a proper cool
down, again the coaches participated along with
the boys and encouraged full effort on all of
the stretches
According to Jordan, he said he really liked trying
to get the ball from "Richard" but the best was when
he actually stole it from Bassam. He said Bassam
was surprised and that was a triumph for Jordan. He
really liked the fact that there were boys in the
program who were "good" and so it was exciting to
work hard to be better at all of the "tricks" he was
learning. He was very happy and looked forward to
every opportunity available to come back again to
the Academy.
Since that first day, I have seen the pattern
repeated. The same comprehensive program, full of
activities which appeal to the boys, push them
individually, challenge them to work with each other
as a team, regardless of who they end up playing
with or against throughout the sessions. The boys
seem pleased with what they have learned to date.
They seem confident in their abilities and they come
to realize that continual improvement and individual
development as a soccer player are the result of
focused effort and fun.
In speaking to other parents, I know that they are
as positive about the Academy focus on individual
skills development and enjoyment of the sport as I
am. They had come from teams in leagues where some
coaches were into " winning at all costs".
Jordan has developed a high level of skill in a very
short time and as far as I can see, there is no
limit to reaching his full potential as a soccer
player through this program. I want to express my
appreciation to Bassam and his professional staff
for creating ANB Academy. I see the potential for
increasing the profile of soccer and soccer players
in this country.

Hi Bassam,
I express great pleasure in joining my son at ANB
Soccer Academy, I was introduced to the program
through a friend who had great praise for the
academy. I was enthused and skeptical at the same
time, so in turn, I scrutinized the coaching to the
highest degree.
I can honestly say, the coaching is met with
knowledge, professionalism and passion not only for
the game but also for the players. The content of
their website is fully applied to the academy on and
off the field.
My son has grown tremendously in skill and has
grasped the concept of the game in completing one
season of training. Not only that, our
conversations about the game has changed
dramatically all for the better. Bassam,
you've created a wonderful environment that exudes
the beauty and passion of football.
Blessings to you and your staff.
Best Regards,
Marlon Sooklal

Thank you Bassam,
We can not relay to you just how happy we
are to have enrolled our daughter in your
program. It was the best decision we ever
made. Her marked improvement in technique
and tactics has given her the
confidence to play at the highest
level. The whole staff at ANB are very
professional in their approach to training
youth players. The coaching style,
methods, and demeanor of your academy
coaches are exactly what we were looking
for. Please, reserve our daughter a spot
for your next sessions.
Big ANB fans,
The Jakisa Family
P.S. We would especially like to thank coach
Jhon Ardila who worked with her closely
throughout these past winter and spring
sessions and helped reinvigorate our
daughter's enthusiasm for the game.

As the parent of two children currently playing US
Collegiate soccer with nationally ranked schools, I
recognize the importance of elite, high level
training for youth players. I would recommend Coach
Bassam not just for what he teaches the youth
player, but more importantly how he does it. Coach
Bassam’s techniques imparts a professional attitude
to the players he trains, an attitude that helps
them to adopt the necessary lifestyle (proper diet,
time management, self-discipline) that elite
athletes require, an attitude that prepares them for
competition at the highest level, an attitude that
prepares them to be successful on and off the field.
Coach Bassam provides the
opportunity for your child to receive training that
is normally reserved for European/Brazilian
Professional Club Youth teams. If your child is
interested in playing soccer at the highest level, I
recommend as ANB Soccer as an instrumental part of
them achieving their goals of developing into an
elite player.

I would like to say that we are very grateful for
the opportunity to have you train Corky.
Corky was selected CityTV Highschool Athlete of the
week, was selected to the Ontario Team three years
ago, has official letters from 40 US universities
and has recently received a 98% scholarship offer
from University of South Alabama. This is a D-1
school, with a rich history in the medical field.
They compete in the Sunbelt Conference, under Coach
Mike Varga. They currently have three Canadians on
their roster.
We look forward to the opportunity for Cortney to
become better prepared for this level of
soccer under your coaching.
Thank you for offering this great opportunity for
our daughter.

Hello Bassam, I also wanted to add that Michelle has
been really enjoying the sessions. I think it has
been great for her development. I have enjoyed
watching the sessions and must tell you that you
have great rapport with the group. It is encouraging
to see. See you soon and thanks.

For over one year, Bassam worked as the Club Head
Coach for the Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club. His
expertise and knowledge of the game of soccer is
second to none. On the field Bassam's energy and
soccer moves dazzle both players and coaches. Bassam
is an asset to any organization and a pleasure to
work with.

Having had the opportunity to work with Bassam on an
almost daily basis as Head Coach of the North
Mississauga Soccer Club, I can assure you there is
not a more complete Coach around today. Technically
he knows the game inside out, but more than his
massive understanding of the game, he is able to
relay all that information to others flawlessly.
During my 2 years with him, I saw him transform many
mediocre average players into well rounded
productive players. His attention to detail is
remarkable, and the sheer joy he gets out of
coaching becomes infectious to all those around him.
The fact that he was and is an exceptional player
himself, allows him to demonstrate drills that many
coaches would not even dream of attempting. I, as
well as many other coaches will tell you a coach
that can actually go out and do the drills will
always get the 100% attention of those around him.
The players feel, heck, if he can do it, why can't
I.
I can honestly say there is not a coach I know who I
could recommend over Bassam to train your child. His
record speaks for itself, and his badges and degrees
are in the dozens. More than that however, there
lies an enthusiastic kid inside a mans body, who
absolutely loves the game. You can't go wrong!

I would say to any who is considering enrolling
their child in the ANB Soccer program, DON'T
HESITATE!! You will be giving your child the
opportunity of learning from one of the best. Having
worked along side of Coach Bassam for 2 years with
the Under 17Boys North Mississauga Panthers, former
2000 Canadian National Champions, 2000 Ontario Cup
Champions and 2000 OYSL LEAGUE Champions, I can
honestly say that the level of commitment and
dedication he brings to the field is bar none.
Coach Bassam’s enthusiasm and positive energy are
infectious. The knowledge and technical skills he
brings to each and every session will benefit each
child not only on the field but also in life, as
they realize they must not only be committed and
dedicated to the game of soccer but they must also
bring that level of dedication and commitment to
other aspects of their lives.
Having a child who is attending university in New
York state, I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for
the knowledge, time, effort and dedication Coach
Bassam put into the Panthers, I don’t believe many
of the young men who have gone on to play at an
elite level in the US, would be where they are
today.
Sincerely
Cathie Pasqualino
