ANB Sends Two
Teams to MAPS Showcase in New Jersey
March
19, 2008
ANB Academy Futbol will be sending two of its showcase teams to
the MAPS showcase in Fort Dix, New Jersey for the Weekend of
March 20th with the assistance of Rated Sports. The
MAPS Showcase has a proven history of
arranging the largest college showcases in the Northeast and in
the past few years alone,
over 500 coaches
have relied on the MAPS/MSSL Showcases to find the right
prospects as the series has presented teams from 14 states and 2
Canadian provinces.
The ANB Teams will be competing against over 60 other teams at
the U16 and U17 age groups and showcasing their talents in front
of numerous College scouts representing NCAA D1, D2 & D3 - NAIA
- NJCAA schools. The teams are expected to play a minimum
of four games each and possible some additional matches will be
schedule, if time permits. Outside of the matches,
Goalkeeper specific showcasing will also be taking place.
ANB Academy Futbol has consistently worked towards showcasing
and providing opportunities for their players. Last year
was the start of the showcase trips to the US in addition to
another year with international exposure in Ireland and France.
"The team at ANB have always stayed true to their players,
parents and the staff in regards to putting the players in front
of the right people, at the right time. The boys now have
the chance to showcase their skills and to potentially realize
new opportunities in the very near future. The work ethic of the
players and coaches combined, along with the advanced training
of ANB, have made this all come together."
Bassam Naim Academy Director | Robert Jung, Coaching
